Carolina Breeze is a nice, clean love story. It is set in the mountains of North Carolina. The area description is nice, but not overly done.
The main characters are the innkeeper and the movie star. Though their characters are not dealt with deeply they are well enough done that you feel like you know them in a not too personal way. The minor characters are done nicely too, to the point you know their basic personalities and flaws.
The story flowed well and kept my interest. I did not skip any pages during reading (which I have done in a slower story). It is not a deep story, it is light and an easy read. This type of book is the "happily ever after" kind. It is a Christian book, but not in a preachy sort of way. More in the way that the main character knows the need for Christ in her life. It was light on Christian and more heavy on relationships.
I received an ARC copy of this ebook through Netgalley and Thomas Nelson Publishing to read and review. A positive review, or any review for that matter, is not required. This review is my own, honest opinion. With that being said, and knowing this is an ARC, I do hope that it has another editing review before publishing. There were a lot of errors, the most consistent was the words with a space in the middle, like this: ex perience. It was annoying. I give this a 3 out of 5 star rating.
I leave unbiased reviews of the books I've read. I do not include a synopsis of the book, just my honest opinion.

The Land Beneath Us by Sarah Sundin
I was so excited to be chosen to read and review this book through Revell Reads. I have read other books by Sarah Sundin and I have never been disappointed. This book was no exception.
This is the third book in the series Sunrise At Normandy. Each book tells one brother's views and experiences after a tragic accident. This book is about Clay Paxton, the youngest son. It shows how Clay felt about the treatment he received and how he dealt with those feelings. It also tells his part in the war and how his past shaped the way he acted and thought.
This is a Christian book without being preachy. It shows how the main characters use their faith in their daily lives. It shows how depending on God is the best. It is also a war story and a love story all combined.
Sarah Sundin did a wonderful job of weaving these stories together and bringing her characters to life. She made you feel you were not just reading a book but that you were actually getting to know these people.
I give this book a 5 out o 5-star rating. I would recommend this book to my friends. I was given this book by Revell but a positive review was not required. This is my own view of the book and my own words.

Kit and elizabeth by Karen Tuft
To begin with, this book is not what I expected. Not that this is bad, but I thought, because the publisher is Covenant Communications, that this would be a Christian book. I would not call it that, but it is a clean read. God is mentioned but in a very generalized way, not in a way that shows who God is.
So, with that mentioned, my opinion of this book is very good. It is a historical/regency love story and it is well written. The main characters are quite well developed. The storyline flows well. You get a sense of what is truly important to most of the characters except the minor players.
I won't say that I couldn't put the book down, in fact, a couple of places I felt it got a bit slow, towards the end of the book. This was not a big problem, I just did a bit of skimming the pages sometimes but not often.
I have never read anything by Karen Tuft before but I will be interested in reading more of her books. I was gifted this book through NetGalley by Covenant Communications, Inc. and this review is not required and my freely given, personal opinion. The book was an ARC and as such the editing was quite well done. I noticed less than 10 errors and that is good. I give this book a 4 out of 5-star rating.
